This scenic drive was better than I expected. Along the way we saw a beautiful stone church and an abandoned mine. We went in late May and the road was not terribly busy which means we were able to go slow and enjoy the scenery. The views of Longs Peak were awesome.

Highly recommend this drive during the summer and autumn if you're looking for spectacular views of the Rockies. In the autumn, the turning of the Aspen makes this an absolutely stunning drive and attracts fans from all along the front range. Estes Park down to Nederland and on to Black Hawk - just a wonderful drive.

My family and I traveled the Peak to Peak highway last week. The views are beautiful. If you travel the highway you must stop in the little towns along the way.

What else can you say about this beautiful drive? All the way from Nederland on the South to the intersection with Hwy 7 from Lyons on the North. Fantastic views of fourteeners. Lots of places to veer off for fishing, hiking, camping (Rainbow Lakes, Brainard Lake, Wild Basin, Long's Peak). And there was very little traffic on our mid-week drive so we had time to slow down and enjoy the views.
