This room was booked on-line and I was concerned about the cleanliness of this motel. It is certainly not a Hilton but was adequate. The bath/shower, shower curtain, toilet and sink were all clean and the shower had decent shower pressure. This motel has updated some of its features. A non-smoking room but could still smell a bit of the old cigarettes. An update of the spread and blanket would be welcome. Also very quiet. We paid about $70 with a AAA discount. The young man who greeted us at the counter was pleasant. All in all it is adequate for a nights stay.

We booked online and got a great price $ per night. The Econo Lodge is on the edge of the city so you have quick access to Jedediah Smith State Park for hiking in the Redwoods and just around the corner from the beaches and restaurants of Crescent City. The room was very room with a microwave and larger than average min-fridge. It was perfect for a place to crash after a fun day.

I booked this room online and was apprehensive on what it would look like in person. The rooms were clean and decent. I was surprised that it was not bad. A little outdated and too much money (120.00 per night). Of course there was 4 people and 2 dogs. We were in walking distants of where people moored their boats. We went down and watched the sea lions.

This hotel is sufficient for a short stay. Rooms were clean, bathrooms clean, staff very friendly, NO stairs which was a plus! Plenty of restaurants along Rt 101 to choose from with a variety of foods. Easy access on ad off Rt 101, etc. I would stay again, if traveling this route.

If you are planning on spending more than one night than I would advice against this place. First the internet price is very good so no worries there. But in the room that we had it was poorly maintained and worst we found that our room door lock would work than not work. Either we couldn't get in or the door wouldn't lock. THis is a big deal all being said door locks should always work. Anyway the price is very good but I wouldn't stay here again

We had reserved one room with a King sized bed, upon arrival they gave us one with two full beds instead. Not a big deal we said to each other. The room was one of the ugliest I have ever been in, terrible cheap light fixtures from the 80s, and very ugly comforters. The furniture also looked very 2nd hand. Not a problem we said to each other since we were staying for one night only. However when we found a long hair in the pillow, showing the sheets had not been washed, and a cockroach appeared in, that made it unacceptable. Being ugly and dated is one thing, but lack of hygiene is a whole different ballpark.

The only reason I stayed was because we arrived very late and had kids with us. This was disgusting. The toilet had dried urine around the base, hair in the bathtub, holes in the blankets with scratchy sheets and super uncomfortable mattresses. Our NON smoking room smelled like smoke, go figure. The towel rack came out of the wall, when opening a drawer, the handle fell off, and the carpet and furniture were old and definitely need to be replaced. Service was indifferent. Got up early and got the heck out of there!!

Now it's true, there is a fridge, and my kids room didn't smell as badly as ours did, and they did have a basic breakfast. It is close to the redwood national park. There is little to chose from in Crescent City....so maybe for the area it's not that bad but seriously....EEEW!

Maybe if I had paid a 1/4 of what I did I could have managed this room better. I'm not a hotel snob, but this place was YUCK!

Room Tip: Reviews are all over the board on this one...honestly I wish I would have spent a little more money...
