Nothing fancy, a little older but well kept. Good price. Located in the center of town. Chineese restaurant right next door. Denny's within walking distance. Nice indoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was pretty basic but clean. Great place to start a tour of the coast. Highly rcommend the Trees of Mystery just South of town in Klamath.

We were given a bed that was smoke free, but it was smelly and the bed was so lumpy we found it hard to sleep. We were going to get some ice but the ice machine was extremely dirty! The price might have been cheaper but I would pay more and stay somewhere else. Our next stop was in Fort Bragg. Stayed at the Surf Motel. This is a clean room with a great bed. Only $10 more. Well worth it!!!

Room Tip: Tip is don't stay at Penny Saver!

We drove up the coast over the 4th of july and was worried we would not be able to find a room there were a lot of hotels on the same street as this one they all including this one looked a little suspect, but this one looked the best was pretty clean on the outside and had what we wanted a swimming pool and hot tub,I do not think any of the others did.
the room was 97.90 after tax for 4 people it was clean did not smell like anything was kinda small but was just what we needed the sheets were clean ,the room was older but clean the pool area was a little run down but it was clean the pool was heated the hot tub was hot and we had a great time our room was close to the office on the second floor, crescent city has a great beach be sure to check it out ,also there are lots of food options close to this hotel as well as a grocery store

We came here after a nine hour drive from seattle, hoping to relax and sleep. We didn't expect much because of the outside appearance. When we walked in, we automatically thought it was nasty. It smelled of mildew, the beds were dirty and there was even a suspicious stain on the blanket of one of the beds. I'm pretty sure it was blood because there was some on the wall next to the bathroom too. We were so grossed out that we had to walk to walgreens (which is across the street, the only convienent thing about this hotel) and buy disinfectant and clorox wipes so we could sanitize everything. I didn't even want to take my shoes off because the carpet looked filthy. The restaurant next door, their menu was made available in the room, was gross as well. Its like the buffett was sitting out ALL DAY. The pool was cold and the hot tub was broken due to someone who had stolen the wires. I also think some of the staff were teenagers. Oh and the fridge didn't work either. We stayed in room 105. It was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

This was one of the nastiest, seedy hotels I've ever stayed in! The rooms were filthy, the beds were dirty, unclean and hard as a rock! The walls were spackled so heavy that even the lights, tiolet paper rolls, etc were spackled over! There were piles of dirt on the floor everywhere! The beds had crud on the sheets (don't want to imagine what it was) and things didn't work, phone included. There was a lot of mold growing everywhere even. I just want to forget I ever stayed here! Ugh!
