You first need to check the tide table for low tide and arrive near that. Lighthouse is only accessible at that time. Nice narrated tour of a Cape Cod style lighthouse. You should be able to navigate tide pool style footing.

Lighthouse is not accesable during high tide . Check tide times and contact lighthouse before visiting. You can see lighthouse from the beach .

First let me start by saying we just visited 9 outstanding lighthouses while we traveled the Oregon coast. This does not compare. We could only visit the exterior as inside was closed. What makes it interesting is you can only visit it at low tide. Views are beautiful and it was free

How many places are there where you can access a perfect light house easily from town, and combine it with exploring tide pools and walking on the beach? Walk out at low tide and if you are there on a weekend you might meet the light keeper. So cool.

An adventure from start to finish! You walk to the lighthouse from a parking lot, so, don't go at high tide. The lighthouse is filled with interesting artifacts and information on the workings and importance of lighthouses. Really nice for families. Not so much for people with disabilities. They need to fix that.
