“Awesome trees!”
Reviewed November 30, 2012

It is just amazing to see such huge trees. As you know, some of the redwood trees grow to be the tallest trees in the world. This place is a twin to Redwood National Park, now called Redwood National and State Parks. Enjoy the nature walks and impressive views!

“Giant Redwoods!”
Reviewed November 12, 2012

I am from China and I have never seen such amazing wood forest like this before. Giant redwoods are hundred years old. Some are really huge and you can drive your car through. My husband and I drove there after breakfast. There were so many different trails and after research, we only made the shortest one. Along the road, there many places you could stop, took pictures and hiking. We highly recommend you that bring your own picnic food with you while visitig. We stopped by the Subway and took it with us. Feel so good and Love Redwoods.

“Winding mountain roads in a beautiful park”
Reviewed November 9, 2012

I loved seeing all of the redwoods but all that mountain driving was stressful at times! I am glad I visited but don't plan to go back!

“Have to see in ones lifetime”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

My wife has always wanted to see the giant redwoods, so after driving 2500 miles we were there. Absolutely beautiful. This park was recommended by one of the locals that does a lot of hiking. In the morning we took the 2.9 mile one way hike to Boy Scout Tree. One the largest trees in the park, but very hard to find. Ask for directions at the rangers station first. Walking thru the woods one could just imagine the Ewocs from Star Wars up in the branches and the jet fighters zooming thru the woods.

At the end of the road was Stout Grove. Not to be missed. A Level half mile hike thru immense redwoods huddled together like sentry's.

Allow at least a day to do all of this.
