My husband and I stayed a week here in this very secluded cabin on the Smith River. It is great place for privacy. The A frame cabin cute and nicely furnished with comfortable queen bed in the loft. There are padded benches and extra pads to sleep extra guests down stairs so it would be good for a family with kids, You are off the grid on a small generator so don't expect modern electrical appliances. No phone. no internet, no TV, no toaster, no electric coffee pot. Also there is almost no water pressure in the loft upstairs bath so it is pretty much unusable. The spiral stairs to the loft is very difficult with no rails so getting luggage up is tough. The cabin is a very long way from town so when you leave plan on stay out until you are sure you do not need anything. The cabin was hot and stuffy on warm days since there is not way to get cross ventilations since the sliding doors have no screens and are bolted shut. The bathtub/shower could use a good cleaning since is has very moldy caulking. The Smith river is beautiful clear and the swimming hole looks lovely. Everyday you will be visited by the Golden Bella who wants you to throw her ball. Not for those who need luxury and modern communications.
