The Museum is outstanding. Full of American History. Only one drawback, bring your own lunch. The food in Devil dog cafe is over priced, cold and bad. The staff wasn't very nice at all.

The museum itself is laid out in chronological order and some of the rooms will blow you away (figuratively) with the way they transport you to that event. I strongly recommend the outside walkway, it is quite a smooth path and I also recommend a hanky or two, if you are as emotional as l.

This is like looking at living history of the Marine Corps and not to be missed by anyone in any branch of service or civilian.
There is no cost, two great restaurants, place for kids to play, and huge grounds to walk about.

It is important to know even a little bit of what our troops and their families sacrifice to keep our country safe. This museum does a good job of sharing the history of the Marine Corps. Lots of interactive exhibits. Beautiful grounds which are being expanded. We came when it first opened and are very glad to have come back several times since. The new theater and movie are excellent. Can’t wait for the new exhibits opening over the next few years.
