Check in was efficient. The lobby, bar and public areas have a modern urban feel. The staff was great! I was worried about parking because it was downtown, but there were no challenges at all for guests staying there.

Very nice hotel, a great breakfast, awesome staff, great location for us, very accommodating when we checked in so late and tired from being on the road. The room was very clean and comfortable. I just wish we could have stayed longer.

I took a business trip recently to Albuquerque to attend a conference. The group in charge of the conference booked a hotel room for attendees. When I checked in, the staff was very helpful and friendly; they were able to point me to the nearest grocery store and recycling center.
The rooms are excellent! Nice bed, TV, table, spacious bathroom. This was the first hotel that I stayed at that had a bin for recycling as well as trash.
As far as conference rooms, they are well stocked and spacious.
All rooms have a strong wifi signal which is a big plus compared to where I have stayed.

This hotel is in need of a top to bottom update, but the staff are friendly and the location is very convenient for downtown business. Parking is very convenient and the hotel is a fine value if you do not expect too much.

We stayed 3 nights, May 9-12 (room 1416). The room was clean and comfortable, adequate for the amount of time spent in it. Negatives would be both drains were clogged and very slow in the bathroom and the walls are thin, so not very quiet especially in the morning. Overall a good value, we would stay here again.

Outside of the location, I didn't find much to like about this hotel. I won't be returning.

Pros:
1. Just a couple of streets over is Central Ave where there is an active night scene and plenty of bars.
2. The zoo is just a mile or so away.
3. I ran into a couple of maintenance guys and they were very friendly.

Cons:
1. Checking in took a very long time. When I got to the hotel there was a long line of people waiting to check in and only two people at the front desk. It took at least 20 to 25 minutes to check in around 4 pm. After waiting all of that time, I was placed in the wrong room and had to wait for an obviously frustrated front desk person to fix it.
2. A charge showed up on my bill for the restaurant, which I never went to. The charge was reversed.
3. Parking is horrendous. The parking in the front is small, cramped, and limited. I would advise against parking on the right or left sides of the parking lot because I saw a lot of people getting blocked into their parking spots.
4. Hotel walls are thin. Couple this with loud wall units and you have a recipe for hearing your neighbors TV as they (or you) try to turn up the TV to compensate for the wall unit.
5. There was no refrigerator or microwave in my room.
6. Bathroom wallpaper was visibly peeling.
7. Bathroom shower head was messed up and shooting water in different directions.
