I stayed at the Sheraton this weekend. I have to say I was more than a little bit surprised. I live in Rio Rancho and I have watched this hotel go from a Wyndam to Albuqeruque Grand, to the Sheraton. I had heard various things about the hotel when it was the Grand and it was mostly negative.
This was far from negative. I went for a conference and the staff at the desk were fantastic. Stuart was awesome (you rock kid). The lobby was really nice and welcoming, very modern, had just a good vibe about it. The bellman Dominic was just plain cool and had a great attitude. Everyone smiled, greeted me and were very pleasant including the housekeeping staff.
During our conference, the staff wasfriendly and pleasant, the conference rooms were very nice. The lunch buffet was amazing, both from selection to taste. The barbeque sauce on the chicken was really great didn't seem like your ordinary bbq sauce. Desert was unique and my favorite. Best banquet food I have had attending a conference. Our group met here last year and I didn't attend. Most of my colleagues said last year was good but this year was great. What ever they are doing keep it up. By the way can I have the recipe for the BBQ sauce. Thanks to the Sheraton for a great food and service.More
