My must haves for a hotel are clean and reasonably priced. This hotel was both. Comfortable bed. Only complaint was that air conditioner would only cool the room to about 75 degrees which is a bit to warm for sleeping. Also a free continental breakfast would have been nice.

The rooms were excellent; the staff was nice. The place itself is pleasant, cool decor, spacious. There is everything you need: laundry, pool, fitness room, etc.

However, there is only one elevator, used by everybody for everything, and it is slow. Service in the bar and restaurant is also slow. Given the excellent price, I'm inclined to be forgiving.

The location is hard to get to. There is no food available on a late night, even Dominos won't come here. The place is like a graveyard, weird vibe. My room smelled like smoke. Stayed here 4 years ago for a conference, so decided to return.
A few weeks ago, it was an OK experience, we went out to eat and went to bed early. This time, I came in late and couldn't get take out or room service. Nothing within walking distance and didn't want to drive around looking for food.
Will not return.

We chose this hotel to be near a wedding site and were pleasantly surprised by the price and ambience. Beautifully decorated in Native American style, it is close to any part of the city in spite of its location near the Sandia Mountains. The staff were most helpful and friendly. Some criticisms: no bell boys, poor choice of music in public spaces. I understand the hotel is going through new management and welcomes suggestions. We would stay there again.

Room Tip: If you need disabled amenities be sure to ask for room 127,the only one with walk in shower.

We got a great mid-week rate.
Pros: Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable, washer/dryer on site & easy on/off highway.
Cons: Minimal service mid-week = one waitress in the breakfast area (took way to long to get our breakfast), one bartender to cover meals in dining area and drinks at the bar. Most customers only had one cocktail and left due to no service. Really wanted to like this place since the decor inside the lobby, bar & restaurant was unique. Sadly the place is understaffed and could have generated more revenue if the management would've recognized potential guest requirements.

If you don't expect to eat or drink here mid-week, then this is a place to stay.

Room Tip: If you plan to do laundry. Purchase your soap/fabric softener outside of the hotel, also get plenty...

The front desk supervisor, I think her name was Jessica, was very lovely and made my stay very comfortable and pleasant. The housekeeping was great especially the male maid that cleaned my room. The room always stayed really clean throughout my stay. The only thing that bothered me was the dim lights in the bathroom.

This hotel is very quaint, clean and the staff is wonderful. Amanda at the front desk could not be nicer and more knowledgeable. Everyone else was just great. There was only one person Travis, who needs a lesson in how to treat customers. All of your other employees were wonderful and James in the office is so helpful and knowledgeable. The girl who bar tends in the lounge is absolutely incredible and friendly and nice.

Room Tip: Any room there is perfect and I don't think there is a bad room in the hotel

Dear 749Vickie

Thank you for the review, I am pleased to hear your stay at Nativo was wonderful and that our staff were so friendly and helpful, I do apologize that there was one staff member that was not as nice as there others. I assure you I have addressed this issue with that employee and would cherish the opportunity to provide you with better service in the future.
