This was a very pleasant hotel to stay at. The staff were very friendly. The rooms are well appointed and clean. This is a great location for sight seeing, right off the highway. The pool and whirlpool were okay, but not anything special. The fitness centre was not great and didn't have weights, just cardio machines. The lobby area is very neat and has a very native american feel to it. We would return, and definitely recommend.

We booked one night. We were 3 families. We arrived at 330pm and our rooms were not ready. we were told they did not have a manager and later found out they did. House keeping staff extremely rude. On of our blankets was dirty and the house keeper argued with us and then proceeded to drag the blanket across the lobby floor in front of us. We were told there were no towels. They were right, there were no towels in our room. The light in the bathroom did not work and the front desk argued with us at first to fix it. The plugs in the room did not work right. Again, staff EXTREMELY rude and very unprofessional. Don't stay at this hotel. Don't waste your money.

First I do have to give it to the staff for dealing with our extremely rude and loud neighbours right away. The walls are very thin so we were able to hear the sounds of small children running and screaming and adults talking over them. Security came and got them to be quiet right away which was great, and had we continued to have problems with them, they said they would have moved us to a different room.

Sadly that is one of the few good things I can say about this hotel. You don't get a free continental breakfast, it is a whopping $7.50 for a buffet. I can't vouch for the buffet because my husband and I went elsewhere for breakfast, but we had been use to getting a free one.

The other problem we had was the bed. It is way to soft, and likes to sink in, especially in the middle. The sheets they put on were not big enough for the bed, so by the morning they were off from the top corners. We don't have a problem with this normally, so I doubt it is us. The blanket is really heavy, and feels as if their is lead in it.

Be warned there are no fridges or microwaves in the rooms. I got a delux king room, which is a bigger space in the middle of the room. This means that the TV has to be pushed farther against the wall, not very close to the bed at all.

They don't have a lot of parking, so when we arrived late after a ghost your, we had to park in the back where there isn't adequate lighting.

The walls are very thin so the noise level is high, and for some reason they gave us a room with an adjourning door for us to get into the next room. I'm not sure why they did this, or if this is how all their rooms are.

The decor in the lobby is very cool, and our room was clean, but overall our experience at this hotel was negative, and we will not be returning.

Our daughter booked this hotel based on the good reviews she read on another website. We arrived around dinner time to check in. To our surprise, we were sent to another hotel for the evening because the air conditioning had stopped working. The staff was very gracious and apologized for the inconvenience. They asked us to check back the next day to see if the situation had been resolved. We were sent to the Marriott Pyramid for the night. The next afternoon, we went back to the lodge as the air conditioning problem had be fixed. The lobby was nice, but you could not get a feel for the decor until you stepped into the elevator that had a perfect view of the main lobby, with its southwestern theme, and restaurant area on the second floor. Looking out of the elevator, there was an archway draped in white netting and chairs being placed for what looked to be like a wedding that evening. The disappointment began when we got to our room. The curtains were not in good shape and the ends were falling because some hooks were missing. The carpet did not look like it had been vacuumed. We turned down the bed to take a nap and found crumbs in the bed between the sheets and stains on the pillowcases. My daughter found similar stains on her bedding too. My husband immediately went to the lobby to ask for another room. Again the staff was accommodating and apologized for the problem. The house staff head came to our room to see what the problems were and she told the maid to redo the entire room. She also apologized. Our second room was better, however one of the beds was so close to the air conditioner, about 8 inches, that I put a towel over the vent to keep it from blowing on me all night. The bedding was extremely heavy and the sheets were harsh and scratchy. The mattress was a bit too soft and tended to dip in the middle. Some of the bath towels were stained and looked like they had not been bleached. There was also some mold between the outer and inner shower curtain.
The lodge made an impressive view from the highway at night. The lights were very colorful and made the outside look amazing. However, when we returned from our evening out, we could hardly find a parking space. The wedding that had taken place and its reception, was still going strong. As we entered the lobby, loud music greeted us as we waited for the "one" elevator to come. When the doors opened, some children were running the elevator. Everyone seemed to know one another, obviously, but it was late and I was ready to settle down. Our room was close to the opening where the festivities were taking place and we could still hear the music and guests. Being close to the highway also allowed for extra noise. I am sorry to say that our experience was not what we expected. Perhaps it was because of the wedding that was going on at the same time as our stay. I still cannot recommend this as the best place to stay given other options in the area. The staff was gracious and kind, but I feel the accommodations could have been cleaner.

We were through Albuquerque for one night only and had read great things about the Nativo Lodge. The room was a good size and we found it clean. It is close to a wonderful restaurant that the front desk recommended called Sadie's. It is also fairly close to "Old Town" that has a good deal of shops and was fun to walk around in the evening. They have a tipi out back which was fun to take pictures in and have an indoor/outdoor pool, but we were just passing through so did not get to use it. Also, the sweet grass shampoo smells wonderful! We would def stay there again.

Looks nice from outside and even on the inside but rooms lack that certain cleanliness and shine that an upper end hotel has. Rooms do not have microwaves or fridge. Beds are soft however, some of them are worn as they have low spots in the middle. Parking is not very good. If you book when they are having a wedding or other event -good luck. Rooms are not very quiet. You can hear everything from people outside in parking lot( even from third floor) to traffic. Again, if you stay there when they are hosting an event then expect even more noise. The comforter is super heavy. It's like a lead filled blanket and it constantly slides off of bed. They also had no carts available to take luggage to room. The workout room only has treadmills. The employees are very nice.

Room Tip: Any room not facing the interstate!!
