This was the most disgusting place I have ever stayed. We thought we'd book rooms for our family and my parents ahead of time...what a mistake. There were stains on the comforters and sheets, the pillow cases had make up and mascara on them, peeling wallpaper, water damage around the bathroom doors, the rooms looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a very long time as did the hallways. We told the front desk, they stated they didn't have access to clean bedding. So they switched our rooms which were not much better. The sinks had hair around them and the showers had mold. The fridge in one room looked like something had been spilled but never cleaned. My daughter left with a rash the next day. Oh and the breakfast room...all I can say is yuck!

I asked for a room for a woman traveling alone, and that part of my request was well met. Unfortunately, maybe I wanted to be on the ground floor someplace else in the building. The first room I was given had two double beds, a nightstand and a dresser. I turned on the AC, and it blew outside temp air around. I thought time and a swim would help, so I went to the pool. I came back and it was still very hot in the room. Albuquerque was experiencing some of the hottest days of summer at the time. I called and was moved down the hall to a different room. This room had what the old room had, with the addition of one chair and a table, a microwave and a small fridge. This AC unit blew air about ten degrees below the outside air temp.

I went down to the loud, dark bar. No food is served in this bar. Not even a pre-made sandwich and a bag of chips. In my opinion, it is unsafe to serve alcohol without food of some sort.

I ordered room service from the Owl, and that was great. Just don't order the green chile cheeseburger if you have ever had one from the original owl in San Antonio.

I appeared that the hotel is cutting some corners by not having maintenance on duty every day. The hot tub was down for routine service as well. The pool was clean and cold, but unsupervised children were playing in it, and it was very rocky.

Very clean and neat in a sort of cluster of hotels in NE ABQ, but (wife smokes) and there were no ashtrays in a smoker's king, none at the front desk and housekeeping was gone (apparently for two days). Made a nice ashtray by cutting a Pepsi can in half and bending it down. Time change had happened the night before, but hot here. The electronic 6 AM wake up came at 5 AM (discovered it about a half hour later since room clocks had not been reset). Ice machine right around the corner broken, so a two-building drive to get ice. Watching the news after the world series game 5 (wife in bed and asleep) and the bed backboard falls off the wall. Kind of like a candid camera experience. Great pizza delivery from a nearby Pizza Hut. Probably the best part of the experience. Hotel GMs ought to be made to spend a night in each one of their rooms.... In a climate where even the best of resorts are price point pitching in the $80 range, we didn't choose wisely (think that was from an Indian Jones movie....)

Large older rooms, Pool was a treat after a long day driving. Close to 6and 40. close to casions. comfortable beds. breakfast ok, unlike super 8 they had meat and fruit.$62 for 3 tax included. bar empty, wanted a beer, but music way to loud (who were they playing for "empty chairs" "YOU MUST STAY HERE", just to see the bathroom between the bar and the lobby. It is the most fithy and disgusting I have ever seen at a hotel in America. I would bet the C.D.C. does not even know the names of the GERMS in that bathroom .Really this is the TRUTH. You have gottaaaaa see this bathroom

Lobby looks nice and staff friendly, but hotel is a nightmare. Also, don't count on being able to connect to the internet.
