“Nice Place”
Reviewed January 12, 2006

I was wisked here for a romantic weekend. We had dinner at McGrath's and then went walking around downtown. Afterwards off to the Hot tub which sits up high above the city.

Will be going back this weekend for a repeat performance.

Stayed January 2004

I was surprised to see the number of bad reviews for the Albuquerque Hyatt. I live in nearby Santa Fe, and have stayed there many times over the years (mostly on business), and have never had a bad experience. While it is part of an upper-end chain (and therefore a bit bland), the rooms have always been clean and spacious(with in-room pay per view movies), the service (including room service) fine and the staff helpful. The pool and the gym are nice, and McGraths serves very decent (if not de luxe) food. Downtown Abq. does tend to shut down early, but that is slowly changing with more restaurants and nightlife on Central and Gold Streets, and there is a 14-screen theater within walking distance of the Hyatt. All in all, I don't know of a better place to stay in Albuquerque.
