“Good overall”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 2, 2014 via mobile

Room was clean and front desk was fast at answering questions and the phone. My overall stay was great and would stay here again. Internet was well and tv worked. Close to all the downtown area very easy to get around as well. Very great location as well.

To sum it up, we just thought this place was inconsistent and lacks quality control. We were so ready to get back home. The front desk staff was the highlight. Too bad you only really come into contact with them upon checking in.

There were two phones in our room. Neither worked well and one did not work at all. After a long day of travel and a long performance ahead of us that evening, we wanted some room service. We opened the menu only to find alcohol and catering. I called operator and room service. Was then put through a lot of confusing attempts to get some food. Assuring me the menu is in the room, attempting to read me the entire menu over the phone, telling me we could just go to the restaurant... come on. Can't someone just grab the menu pages and bring it up!? No? Nevermind.
We were excited to see a spa advertised at the hotel. Well the spa is not open on the weekends. I don't really see how a place designed for people to relax is not open on the weekends but yeahhhh. Why would I come here during the week and if I did (for work) when would I have time to spa? Disappointment.
The in-room guide and signs say there are soda machines on every floor. So I ventured out to get a couple of sodas. "Oh! I guess they took this one out, I will take elevator to the floor below. Oh! This one is gone too?" I finally called and was told they had ALL been taken out and the only place to buy a soda was the gift shop on the lobby level. Good grief.
The TV was really tough to control. Also, they don't have HBO! Showtime. Boo. No True Detective finale for us;)
When we arrived back from our gig I called to get a wake-up call. Phone didn't work, didn't work, didn't work. Then it did! And I was put on hold. For 4 minutes! Why not just ask what I want, then put me on hold if too much is going on. Better yet, how difficult is it to put in an auto wake-up/ messaging service where guests can input the time desired and get to sleep?
We had to stay another night because of airline issues and had arranged payment before the second day. The next morning maids entered our room anyway. Even though the "Do Not Disturb" sign was on! We explained and they left. Not 10 minutes later they came back and entered again!
Yuck. I just don't like this place. It was not an enjoyable experience. Go somewhere else.

Dissapointing place. Overall ok, but the fact that neiher WiFi OR breakfast was included, and really expensive when ordered was really a deal breaker. Service really good, clean rooms and a good location, but the lack of breakky and WiFi sucked.

Thank you for choosing us while you were in the Duke City, MamaOnwuanumkpe. We have reviewed your comments and have used them in an effort to better our hotel.

Our staff and management team is disappointed to see that your stay was less than memorable. We always try to do everything that we can to ensure that our guests receive upgraded amenities and services while we also make a concerted effort to keep our prices affordable. We have upgraded our Wi-fi to the fastest possible speed so that all guests stay connected to what's important.

Please contact me directly should you return to Albuquerque and I would love to discuss any concerns that you feel are unresolved.

I was here for 4 nights on business. Very nice commercial hotel, well situated. A number of restaurants within easy walking distance. Everything worked, excellent breakfast, staff was uniformly friendly, polite, professional, caring and helpful. Room was fine. Checkin and out were fast and efficient. WiFi a bit erratic and slow at times. I'd be happy to stay here again.

Room Tip: This is just about the tallest building in town, so if you get a high-floor room, you will almost ce...

This hotel needs some updates - it looks great from the outside and is situated in the heart of downtown (but a long walk from the old town) but rooms are a bit gloomy and in need of some renovation. Staff were friendly and helpful; service was good. But I would choose 1 of the much more modernized hotels around the airport area for my next stay as they have more amenities and are more modern and comfortable.

The hotel is well located, in the city centre. It has a starbucks and some shops.
There are some points to be fixed: internet signal appears and disappears at its own desire, so too crazy for working there. No minibar.

4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2014

The hotel is very attractive, as it provides a warm and vibrant atmosphere, the rooms are luminous and fairly well equipped (even though the plombing system seems a bit antiquated), the staff very friendly, the town location is ok, the surrounding area is wonderful for going around. The only little drawback is the lack of any opening window in the hotel. This makes the air, especially in the guest rooms, a bit stuffy, perhaps a better aeration system could help.
