After meeting their very friendly staff, I was disappointed in the overal state of the hotel. My first room was room that had not been cleaned and although the staff were very polite, it took some time to find me another clean room. There were stains on my carpet and wallpaper, nothing unseemly just old and displaying wear and tear. The sheets were low threadcount and old, not a very comfortable bed. I could hear every time my neighbor coughed. I'll stay somewhere else on my next trip to Albuquerque.

The woman at the front desk, Kelly was very helpful, very polite and very professional. We had just got done driving two and a half hours and we were very tired and she got us in our room within minutes. Not only that but we got free breakfast and a discounted rate with our AAA card!

Stayed for 3 nites in a king corner room, 16th floor, large room, quiet as a church mouse, all facilities and amenities except safe which is at front desk ; staff responsive;restaurant with good food but service a bit lacking in details for the price, i.e. entree cleared but other dishes left on the table. Other nearby historic Andaluz hotel is worth staying at a block away. Downtownarea is deserted at nite and other than these hotels there are a few bars within3 blocks on Central.

I must start by saying what an amazing staff works here. We were 3 hours past our scheduled arrival time due to a rough day at work. We were welcomed with open arms, smiling faces and then had an amazing surprise of strawberries and chocolates delivered to the room saying they hope our day got better!!!!!
Rooms are clean, comfy and nice I had a great quiet corner room.. Wifi was a bit spotty but once it worked it seemed to be fast.
Nice products in the bathroom.

Had an amazing dinner at the bar area, also with a great staff. ..
Great stay, great staff

Room Tip: Corner rooms are great!

This is a very good Hyatt. Clean well appointed rooms. Large comfortable lobby. Big fitness room. Very good restaurant and large bar. Excellent location. Blocks from Central Ave(Route 66) district & ABQ Convention Center. Starbucks and juice bar in lobby. The unfortunate negatives are the fact the the neighborhood is a little dodgy. Many homeless people wandering around begging along with several seedy looking clubs. ABQ really needs to clean up their act. The Hyatt suffers a bit by being stuck in a not so glamorous neighborhood but I'd still definitely stay their again

This is a typical convention center Hyatt. Short two block walk but downtown is clearly lacking. Seems like there was a bit of deferred maintenance going on, clock was set to wrong time and room service had no idea how to fix it, door bumper was ripped off and laying on the floor, surface had serious dust on them. There was a sports bar in the lobby which never opened once and the open restaurant (Forque) seemed to always have a service shortage. The personnel that was working were great and maintenance came and fixed my clock (why have a clock that isn't easy to correct the time?). If you are here for a convention , it's a great location but downtown is a ghost town (don't even get me started on Old Town after 7PM). So if your visiting look elsewhere, we discovered Nob Hill on the last day and it was great.

Public areas are clean and well maintained. Nice shops and a Starbucks in the lobby. Staff is courteous and attentive. Nice, large exercise facilities. Outdoor pool is large but unheated: too cold to really enjoy unless you are a polar bear! Room was clean and comfortable, well designed and decorated. Bed was very comfortable, but well used on the side by the phone. Only drawback to the room was the shower head which had very low pressure except for the massage setting. Overall, very nice experience.
