“NICE HOTEL”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2012

This is a nice, clean hotel. Friendly staff. Very close to Old Town and lots of restaurants. We didn't eat at the hotel restaurant. Room was clean and large. Doors to hallways are secured at all times, so maybe area has some crime. We didn't feel unsafe at all though. Would stay here again.

We travelled route 66 in August 12. All of our hotels were booked by the holiday company for us. Although all of the other hotels from Chicago to Albuquerque were good, this was by far the best do far. Clean rooms, lovely breakfast and the pool was superb. There is also a laundry. Great location and we would certainly stay here again!

Except for people with very young children, this is definitely within walking distance of Old Town and was actually just about the right distance to walk off some of the Old Town meals we enjoyed! We did not eat at the hotel restaurant nor use the pool as we were so busy doing everything "special" about Albuquerque, including seeing the incredible number of great museums. This is a good hotel with great basics and very centrally located to lots of things you'll want to do. Good Internet service, plugs for extra computers, and good acoustics so no neighbor TV noise. The front desk staff was very helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. We all recommend it!

On our way to Texas we had only planned on staying in Albuquerque one night, but decided on two to take in the Petroglyphs National Park and the 'Old Town'. This hotel is close to freeway access and just a few blocks from Old Town. The hotel was very nice and friendly staff. Beds were comfortable, rooms clean. No free breakfast, but you do get a discount at their on site dining.

Got a good price and was very happy .Had no car and used the excellent shuttle several times.very nice staff .Didnt eat in hotel so can't comment on food. ten minutes down the road you have several restaurants .I don't recommend nearby winery .Im a walker so don't mind that it's not on the plaza but there are very very few hotels in the area .Downtown is a much longer walk than this location so the Andaluz etc are a long treck .Didnt have problems with noise chose back 4th floor .Room newly refitted. There van took me to museums zoo etc and picked me up .

This is a budget hotel but the beds & pillows are top notch. The carpets are newer and the room had a 42 inch LG flat screen TV. Free internet & airport shuttle. No free breakfast but you do get 20% off breakfast at the bar & grill attached to the hotel. Rooms are decorated in mexican decor.
Friendly front desk staff and we were able to check into our room early. In the room you will find a fridge, iron/board, desk with 2 chairs, hairdryer, coffee pot and air conditioning,
There is a small outdoor pool & hot tub and the hotel is within walking distance of old town.
If you want a great city tour book with ABQ trolley co. Adult price $25 but there are senior & chilldren rates as well. You can walk from the hotel to the pick up point and it is well worth 85 minutes of your time.
