Reviewed June 18, 2009

My wife and I stayed at the Bottger Mansion during a recent vacation to New Mexico. We only stayed one night but the accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way.

The hosts were very friendly and breakfast was perfect! We wish we had stayed longer.

The Bottger Mansion combines a relaxing weekend getaway with a great location that is within walking distance of great shopping and wonderful restaurants. The owners provide a wonderful insight into the city and is very willing to "point you in the right direction".

My husband and I recently stayed here for four nights in the former dining room of this historical B&B. Lots of architectual detail to the house, beautiful garden, and a refrigeration stocked with water & soda with homemade cookies nearby. Cathy and Steve were full of advice on the best restaurants and sites around. There was less than a 5 minute walk to the plaza with lots of great shopping...I have a passion for Indian jewelry and the prices were very reasonable, especially at Some on the plaza! National Parks were an easy drive away. Would highly recommend this place to my friends!!!

This B&B was a delightful surprise; Steve and Kathy have charming rooms, great food and helpful tips for enjoying Albuquerque. Everything was so clean and tidy. The loctaion on the edge of Old Town is convenient for sighseeing as wwell as access to the interstate for day trips in the area. We would highly recommend this B&B.

We chose the Bottger Mansion because of its proximity to Old Town Albuquerque. We were delighted to find, from the outset, that the hosts were charming, cordial and inviting. From our first e-mail greeting, we felt very welcome. The reception when we arrived lived up to the promises of the early e-mail greetings.

A charming house, lovely hosts and splendid breakfasts, simply a wonderful combination for restful delight there.. Plus, in addition, the Hiatt's were so freely giving of their knowledge of the local area. Our outings were enhanced by the guidance we received.

I cannot imagine a better way to vist Albuquerque.

We were taking a memory trip for our 50th wedding anniversary. The trip was along Route 66. We found the Bottger Mansion on the internet and it was on old 66. Enjoyed the visit so much we stayed there again on the return trip home. A wonderul place to stay with a great couple to be your hosts.

My wife and I stayed at the Bottger several summers ago and enjoyed a very nice breakfast out in the garden. This winter, we sipped our morning coffee in the warm, sunny, south-facing room overlooking that garden. Very cozy. Later, it was nice to ditch the car and take a crisp winter stroll into Old Town in search of dinner.

Overall, a nice place to relax and de-stress.
