Loved it from the moment we walked through the door. Took a ton of bread home with us. We are now enjoying breads and cookies we brought home with us.

This place understands what quality truly means. It's the food, it's the service, it's the character. Golden Crown has all of this. Chris the owner is amazing. He excels at making the customer happy from the moment you walk in until you cart your now full tummy to your vehicle. The Green Chili pizza pie is amazing. The coffee will put a smile on your face. It's an experience not to be missed. (And they have a way of bringing out the kid in all of us!)

We came here just stopping by after Old town for some bakery goods on our way home. Staff are very welcoming with complimentary biscochito (made with some blue corn!) offered while you look around and decide. We chose a warm out-of-the-oven Chile bread and 2 empanadas (sweet potato and apple).

The Chile bread is huge and had a lot of red chili throughout as well as some cheese – but not too much cheese. It’s a light airy bread – not dense/packed with whole grains- so the style is good for toasting for sandwiches, burgers, soaking for French Toast, and the guy taking care of us said he makes croutons out of it – good idea!

The empanadas were delicious - light pastry and good filling on both.

When you walk in you are greeted by the owner with warm cookie. This place is funky and smells wonderful. Nice bakery smell. I ordered a Vegetable Pizza. The rest of the group ordered a variety of Sandwich's.
With all the orders came a warm cookie. We were all silent in eating
Our food was that good. You go there for a light lunch and enjoy every morsel you eat. A fun and wonderful experience.

Guy Fieri was here apparently, didn't know that going in. Got empanadas (peach & sweet potato) for breakfast, then a ham/cheese baget for lunch (asked them to butter the bread & it was very close to a jambon/frumage in France). They bake their own breads, etc... outstanding! We will go there again! Saw it was crowded during dinner on a Sunday, so pizzas must be good.
