Tiny but they have the best biscochitos to go with your coffee! I love this place! The staff are always friendly and welcoming.

“Too many things to eat not enough time”
Reviewed October 9, 2012

We've heard about this place and wanted to try it when we were in Albuquerque. The green chili bread is what they are known for and it is always sold out. So if you want some call ahead of time or show up early in order to get some. We also had the empanada's which were off the wall. Everything was reasonably priced. They also make by hand personal sized pizza which we didn't get a chance to try because we were full from all the other stuff. Super convenient from old town it was only a 5 mins drive from there.

“Lucky find”
Reviewed September 23, 2012

We had rented bikes at the bike shop on Mountain Road and this place is across the street. After riding the Bosque trail all morning, we needed lunch and are so glad we found this place.
It is not fancy but who wants kitsch when you can have awesome food. My hubby has the veggie pizza on peasant crust, and I had the 'golden crown combo' on green chile crust. Both were excellent. I cannot get enough of green chiles. They have green chile bread but we are on vacation and knew most of it would get wasted so I didn't buy. I did buy a blueberry empanada for a snack later and it was tasty too. Guys who work there are very nice and personable. They recommended we go down to the chile shop on Broadway and Mountain to see them roasted fresh chiles which we did and the smell is awesome.
Please support places like this so the Applebees and Dunkin donuts of the world don't take over.

“I wish I lived in this neighborhood”
Reviewed September 14, 2012 via mobile

In-house roasted chilies in the pizza crust with vegetarian toppings - it was delicious and almost felt healthy. Special New Mexican cookies when we arrived and delicious fruit empanadas for dessert. This place is in the middle of a residential neighborhood. Don't let that fool you - find it and eat there!
