As typical of Homewood Suites the room was clean, beds were average. Breakfast included was great, eggs, bacon the works. Parking lot was secure we did not worry about our vehicle being broken into here as pther Albuquerque hotels seem to experience. Getting to this hotel was very difficult even with gps.. Before our check in day, they placed a "hold" on funds for incidentals during our stay. This was well before our check in date. I will not stay at another Homewood suite if this is the manner in which they now conduct business. This was a prepaid room they never mentioned a hold on funds for incidentals, and no hotel has ever done this prior to check in. They did not release the funds for 5 business days after our stay.

Business partners and I had a exhibition at the Convention Center in Downtown Albuquerque. Each of us had a Suite! First of all....WOW!! SPACIOUS!!! then we asked if it was possible to have the shuttle drop us of and pick us up, I thought to myself no way we were going to have to pay for parking at the convention..nope, front desk expressed that they will take care of everything. One simple phone call and in lest then ten minutes our ride was there to pick us up. As for the staff 5-Star!!! anything and everything was taken care of including getting the chance to visit with the GM who was delightful! Wow ! customer service something that seems to be lacking these days, but no here KUDOS to HS Albuquerque Airport.

I stayed 10 nights during one of the coldest spells in Albuquerque. The room was warm and airy. Plenty of sunlight and great views of the Sandia mountains.

The breakfast was one of the best with an enormous bowl of fresh fruit. Other breakfast items were well stocked, bagels were a bit hard, overall one of the best selections for food.

There is one drawback, the walls seem to be a bit thin. Since I worked nights, I could hear my neighbors - very cleary next door.

Overall, a very nice hotel.

We stayed here on the way to Colorado for a family ski trip. When we came out to our car the next morning we found out our car had been broken into and almost all of our belongings stolen. The desk staff helped us call the police and had us fill out a form for the hotel and were careful not to say anything which might implicate the hotel. We had to ask to re-enter our room so we could make arrangements to rent a car, find a location to repair our car etc. We had to ask for everything, they did not volunteer to help us with anything. We asked if they had any coverage to help us out with our loss, we were told that they are not liable for anything. We were determined not to let this ruin our vacation, but it was a major inconvenience and very costly.

We called the manager after we returned home and asked if our room could be comp'ed as a measure of good will. The manager again stated that they were not liable and after several pleas we did get them to reimburse us for our room.

In retrospect, it could have prevented if we had hauled out all of our ski baggage, but that takes a lot of time. I don't know if this is a regular occurance, but they pulled out a theft report pretty quickly from the front desk. Other than this incident we were ok with the accomodations, the breakfast etc. We just have a very bad taste in our mouth. Please learn from our mistake.

We stay at Homewood Suites as often as we can and I have to say this was the loudest one ever! I think when they constructed it they forgot to add the insulation. I recommend staying on the TOP floor. You can actually select your suite if you book with them online- which I would do if we ever get to stay here again.

We got a two room suite and one toilet was running constantly, we fixed it three times and finally gave up. The other rooms sink stopper would not keep water in the sink and the hairdryer was broken. Since it was the middle of the night we figured it was a mute point to contact maintenance.

In the morning the front desk clerk (a nice young gentleman) was fantastic and took care of us on the business end and for that we are very grateful and will be the main reason I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed here a few weeks ago and I have never been so disappointed in a hotel. We had stayed at other homewoods and this one wasn't like any others. It was dirty, we found trash under the desk and in the bathroom. The light fixtures in the bathroom was on the floor, the sheets had hairs on them and the free breakfast wasn't even worth the price. The eggs were like rubber, the sausage cold. The staff didn't seem concerned at all, not even the manager my wife spoke to.
