The food here was good but it was not inexpensive. It was a nice design space and the hotel just out the main door was having live music and was fun to hang out and listen to. All in all a nice place. Enjoy!

Inside the beautiful Hotel Andaluz, with free valet parking, this is real Spanish cuisine from the chef of the highly regarded La Boca in Santa Fe, but he's at Mas four days a week supervising everything. Besides the airy open room with big windows and an outside terrace, a fine and full staff will serve you in the bar or in little rooms off the best in town two-story lobby. I had two days and nights there on either side of open heart surgery, which forced my wife, a very demanding diner, to spend eight days and nights sampling almost the entire menu. We had only one quibble. Although there were two steak courses on the evening menu, the kitchen had run out of french fries and substituted a soggy mess of sweet potato fries. There are some tweaks left to take account of the presence of Mas in a downtown hotel where it is not always the destination but the salvation of guests.

We had the fortune of eating here three times during our stay at the Hotel Andaluz. Our dinner in the casbah area was relaxing and enjoyable as was the next dinner in the main restaurant area. Our breakfast was tremendous and the coffee was great. I think we managed to try most of the tapas and our favorite was the bruschetta and the steak with caramel sauce. We made sure to visit the sister restaurant in Santa Fe on our day trip there. The restaurant manager is very friendly and professional. Would recommend highly.

We dined here last night for our anniversary and were very impressed! We loved the tapas - our favorites were the grilled eggplant and the smoked salmon nachos. The food is unique and tasty! Our server, Darren, was spectacular! He timed our courses perfectly and was very attentive and welcoming. I would recommend this place to travelers and locals for sure!

Drinks and dinner here midweek with a friend. Everything was excellent. Service was friendly, prompt and professional. Food was not totally authentically Spanish, but was quite good. The calamari special app was outstanding; steamed clams were very good (perhaps unexpectedly in New Mexico). Both required extra bread (to sop delicious juices), which was served without our having to request it. Lamb entrée was excellent. Wine list was quite good (especially if you know and like Spanish wines, which I do).
