A very well designed and maintained facility that displays a wide variety of sea creatures. As in most such venues, kids can run amok. A nice restaurant for lunch and a large gift shop are attached.

A recent trip to the Bio Park with the family was a hit for all. The butterfly hut was awesome and even got the a attention of our teenager. A real gem that many city's only wish they had. This and the tram are two things I recommend highly on your visit Albuquerque. Happy travels.

Great some aquarium especially for families with small children. Easily seen in an hour or two. Beautiful fish and some hands on experiences

Took my 8yr old here. The aquarium is small but offers great close up views of stingrays, sharks, and jellyfish. There is a place to sit and just watch this enormous tank (floor to ceiling-wall to wall tank) holding sharks, sea turtles and other fish. My son sat right up against the window for a long time. The ticket price includes the Gardens, where there is a walk in butterfly house. We got some good pictures. There is many shaded pathways with plants/flowers, a railroad toy train that runs through it, and an area created to look like ,"Honey I Shrunk The Kids"?..like ur an ant in a garden. Smaller kids live it.

the Albuquerque biological park was wonderful. the aquarium was filled with exotic fish from all over the world. The colors of the fish were breathtaking, also their sizes and shapes . Of course the sharks made your heart beat esp. when they swarm so close. We also enjoyed the unique botanical gardens,( took tons of photos,) each garden had a theme ex. Japanese gardens. All were beautifully done, The zoo was on our list but we ran out of time. We will be back.
