We love the beautiful things to see here.
It's a nice walk and not too huge even for little kids.
The old house in the back with the farmland and such is a lot of fun as well.

We stayed in Albuquerque one day because I wanted to go to this garden. We went in the morning, we were only visitors in the garden. The garden is beautiful, but because it's winter, no flowers around. I can imagine how beautiful this place will be in spring and summer.

Great for a walk or run. Beautiful early morning and evening. Nice long trails for you to follow and friendly people along the way. Great for meditating, bike riding, photography, lizard watching, etc.

The botanical garden is one of my favorite local attractions to take visiting family and friends. The Japanese garden area is authentic and lovely. The tiny waterfalls make this area of the garden an escape from the city sounds. The children's garden area is also magical, with its larger-than-life plants and ants.

Roses and other flowers, grass, shade, Japanese Gardens, ponds, indoor atriums, butterfly hatchery, and miniature outdoor railroads chugging through tiny towns are a welcome relief from hot summer temps. The gardens are adjacent to the Aquarium, connected by the Tingley Beach railroad trains, and very close to bike and walking paths along the Rio Grande. So many migratory birds, it is a terrific spot to hear the summer and western tanager calling to their mate. Osprey routinely visit the waters and you can even see eagles soaring above the trees. Thursday nights in the summer, the gardens host varied music, perfect for couples or family. The Christmas time River of Lights is always cold, but amazingly lit with hundreds of lights in the shapes of animals, insects and flowers. Always something new to see in each season.
