The train ride from the zoo to the aquarium is very cute, all the animals were awake and very active!! We ate a burger and fries from one of the food places and it was average compared to most zoos!! Prices were ok... It was an ok stop on our way to Arizona

Not a very good zoo. Not a lot of animals hard to get around. Go somewhere else if you can. Food was horrible. Not a very good experience.

Would come back if we ever return to Albuquerque! Tickets where cheap, and over all a pretty good zoo.

My husband and I had a day to "kill" before heading up to Santa Fe, so we drove to ABQ. I saw on line they have a complex including zoo, botanical gardens and an aquarium. Unfortunately, my gps kept sending me into the middle of the U. of New Mexico campus, so it took a while to find what we wanted. We ended up at the zoo, because the other two attractions are a couple miles away. Anyway, it was a beautiful afternoon and it was simply very pleasant strolling and looking at the animals. I've been to bigger zoos with more exotic attractions, but it was very nice and would be an excellent trip for families with kids. It's clean and kept up, and they have a nice restaurant for snacks like ice cream.

This zoo is not huge but it is large enough to keep any body busy for a whole afternoon. The price is very reasonable for the variety of attractions that are here. One can "visit" Africa, Australia, the tropics, and Oceania. This zoo is very clean and there is a nice, good sized park with a band stand where some very well known performers have performed. There also are often baby animals to see. A baby elephant was born a couple of years back, a baby tiger was also born as well as a baby gorilla. This is one of the top must see attractions here in Albuquerque and there are always new reasons to return here as my family does. A MUST SEE.
