First time visitors get 25.00 in fun money to use on tables or slots. Had a non smoking section for slots. Was looking for gift shop but only had small cigar stand that was closed. For a hotel of this size, that is really something that should not be overlooked. Would have been good opportunity to sell native made items.

Great place to see, get $25 free play for signing up for their points card to use on slots or the tables, so that was a nice bonus, but super smoky so if you hate smelling or being around smoke be prepared they have non smoking rooms in the corners but it's not the same as being in the center.

The live entertainment is always a blast. I dont gamble much but still fun. Really one of my favorite things to do is grab a drink and sit in the pool area looking at the awe inspiring view of the sandias!

This is a BIG, BRIGHT, beautiful casino. It sits high on Sandia Peak. Very easy to get to off I-25 N. Lots and lots of new slot machines, as well as lots of old favorites. Table games too. Lots of people winning. Quick response from slot attendents. Free soda bar as well as hostesses who come around frequently. We ate at the buffet which had a nice variety of foods: salads, Asian, Italian, fish, carving bar, Mexican with emphasis on Southwestern favs like roasted green chilies, fresh guacamole, enchiladas, etc. Worth it to get a players card for the perks.

We went to see BB King, Robert Cray, and Kenny Wayne Shepard at the ampitheater outside the Sandia Casino. The show was fantastic. Robert Cray played for about an hour doing so good mellow blues. Kenny Wayne Shepard played for about an hour doing some high energy blues. BB King and band played about an hour also. He was feeling good, even flirting with some ladies.
The seating was good. The acoustics were fantastic. Very good show.
The place could have had more restrooms, a bit of a line for the mens and womens. Beer prices were a little high but doable.

All in all a good time was had by us and seemed like most everyone there.
