we stayed here just one night, a Saturday, after arriving in NM. it is an easy drive from the airport. the hotel is nicely decorated and clean. we arrived in time for the free drinks, but no snacks. the hotel was very crowded, so all the snacks were gone. the front desk clerk told us that alot of local people come here for the weekend. people in NM are friendly; they talk to you in the elevators! we ate downtown on old route 66 at the standard diner - it was very good. breakfast at the hotel was good as always at embassy suites. it was easy to find our way around ABQ from the hotel.

My daughter was fencing at a competition at the convention center in Albuquerque this past weekend and we stayed at the Embassy Suites. Although not the most convenient property to the convention center, the staff was on top of getting us taxi's to go back and forth, and the quality of the accommodations and staff far exceeded reports from the closer properties. We have stayed here before and certainly would stay here again. The "manager's reception" was just what we needed before dinner and the breakfast was excellent - one of the few complimentary breakfasts' that haven't been cut back in this age of retrenchment. Whole staff was friendly and accommodating - just what a hotel staff should be but often isn't - and the property was physically in good shape.

My fiance and I travel to Albuquerque about 4 times a year for a weekend getaway, and this was our first time staying at the Embassy Suites. We will not stay anywhere else from now on. This hotel is great for the price you pay. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the decor is beautiful. We arrived late on a friday night so we ordered a pizza through room service and it was a large delicous pizza that to me was better than any Pizza Hut or Papa Johns pizza, and the price was very reasonable.

After a very restful nights sleep in the comfortable king bed we got up and decided to check out the free breakfast and we are glad we did. It is not your typical continantal breakfast but a large buffet with lots of choices and omelates and pancakes made to order. One would expect to pay over 20 dollars for a breakfast like this for two.

At night from 5:30pm to 7:30pm they have a managers reception for the guests with free drinks and snacks. Most hotels I have stayed at that offered free drinks usually had a limit on 2 drinks per person, well Embassy Suites had no limit and offered any type of drink you could want from a margarita to a glass of wine. And they don't leave the kids or non-drinkers out as they also had a soda fountain.

The only thing I didnt like about the Hotel was the pool, it was on the smaller side and it was always packed with kids. They had a lady at the entrance turning people away because it was at capacity. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay this is not it. There was alot of families with alot of kids.

Overall the hotel is beautiful and the workers were all very friendly, the rooms are great and the extras such as the free breakfast and cocktails are a very nice touch that makes the room price seem like a bargain.

I have found a new home in Albuquerque.

We needed to stay overnight in Albuquerque before catching a train and this hotel far exceeded our needs. The staff was very helpful from check in to the restaurant to maintenance to the pool. Getting a suite for the price was great since we were traveling with a child. My daughter loved the warm pool which was larger than many we have been in when staying at suite hotels. The heat wasn't working in our room when we checked in. Maintenance was there in 15 minutes and the problem was corrected in under an hour. The cocktail hour was a very nice plus for us road weary adults and the cook to order breakfast with so many choices was great for each one of us who have different food preferences. The atrium can get noisy, but we did not hear the noise in our room.

Great hotel, indoor pool and jacuzzi. Spa was nice. My wife had a massage and loved it, plus it was priced well, not more than you would expect to pay.

I have booked the ES in ABQ at least 10 times over the last 3 years, and I've received exceptional service each time. Have there been a few hiccups? Sure. The difference is ... each hiccup was immediately remedied and an apology rendered.

You really can't beat the price for what you get. A 2-room suite, free adult beverages in the evening, and a fantastic cooked breakfast in the AM. Depending on your tastes, that could easily save you around $20 per person per day (2x adult drinks, 1x cooked breakfast, per person).

I've noticed the price fluctuates greatly, though, so I usually stay when the price hits $89 or $99. Just keep your eye out.

I will stay at no other location in ABQ, and I highly recommend it for the facility (top-notch!), service, and value.

We have stayed here three times now over the course of almost two years. The hotel continues to be well-run and staffed with helpful people. The rooms are nice and the laptop sized room-safe is a plus (having to pay for the Internet is a minus). Of course the cook-to-order breakfast is great too.
