We stopped in Albuquerque after a long road trip, hoping to take a Breaking Bad tour. We were disappointed to learn tat you have to book months in advance. A little research informed us about the Limo tour. We called and booked from the road. The Limo tour is picked up at The Candy Lady in Old Town. (The Candy Lady herself famously provided the blue rock candy that served as Walter's meth on the shore and her store is full of souvenirs formate show.). The price of the tour was comparable to other BB tours. The limo will take six; my friend and I shared with a very nice couple and their son. We all hit it off great, sharing tales of BB and other shows. Our driver, Harold, was a very nice guy with solid knowledge of Breaking Bad and an obvious deep affection for his city and it's history. We comfortably visited most of the key sites from the show. Harold encouraged us to get out and take pictures and seemed popular at the various stops, like Twisters (aka Los Pollos Hermanos), the car wash and Jesse's parents' house, where the owner sometimes invites fans in. The very nice owner of Walter White's house also came out and greeted Harold and talked with us as long as we had questions. The tour took three pleasant hours. We were very happy with the entire experience.

We went to the Candy Lady store to get some Breaking Bad memorabilia. We hit the jackpot there. We walked out with over $120.00 worth of unique t-shirts, a coffee mug, refrigerator magnets, car magnets, and several bags of the blue ice. The staff was very friendly and informative.

so if you are a Breaking Bad nut, as my friends and I are, this tour is a must. Harold, the driver, is a charm (in a Breaking Bad sort of way). He was knowledgeable, extremely accommodating, and clearly enjoyed looking after us. We asked him to stop at a few extra places (Starbucks, a drugstore). the tour is worth it because the locations are all over the Albuquerque area- it would be a real pain to find them on your own. And we wouldn't have recognized many of them, because they seem somehow different without the BB signage , actors, etc.
We thought the tour a bit expensive when we signed up but it was worth every penny!
We got great souvenirs at the Candy Lady's shop- an excellent range of options from hilarious postcards to pins, t-shirts and of course, "blue meth" candy.
