My family of four ate here on a weekday evening. We ordered the "grilled caesar salad" for appetizer, and for dinner, my children had ribbon pasta with butter and cheese, and my husband and I split a margherita pizza and the pasta dish with a creamy porcini sauce. The caesar salad was surprisingly good, although small for the cost. It was strips of romaine grilled then covered with caesar dressing and some cheese. You had to cut it up to eat it, but my kids did not mind. The pasta was quite good. Cooked al dente and the sauce very flavorful. I found the sauce to pasta ratio also quite good. The portion was on the smaller size but I prefer that. The pizza was adequate. It was not terrible, but nothing to write home about. The mozzerella was fresh and not only apportioned, but overall the pizza lacked flavor and was just a hair limp. The biggest drawback in my mind is that it was situated in a strip mall, and had that strip mall feel to it. I do not live in this part of town, so it was quite a trek to get there. However, I will likely go back.

Were disappointed in M'Tucci's. It was very noisy, with a high open ceiling, and music turned up. Nice looking place, but that was about all we found good about it.
My wife had the cannelloni w/ New Mexico red chili, and she couldn't taste the chili at all. Her sauce was actually sweet.
I had spaghetti and meat balls, and it was just average. Sweet, sweet marinara sauce, which I have always equated with spicy. The meatballs had very little flavor, but they were well cooked.
For the prices they charge, they should at least have bread w/dipping sauce or something similar to Olive Garden.
Guess we will stick with Trombino's, which has always been great for us.

We had a great meal this evening. I was a bit hesitant since I lived in Italy for years, and don't really expect to find 'Italian'food in New Mexico. This is a great place though. A keeper. I loved the calamari! Fresh and light, and the aioli was awesome. The Ceasar salad was just right. Very tasty. I then had the bistecca served with cacio e pepe (I've never seen that served here before! Thank you!)and some grilled asparagus. The meat was perfect, very tender, juicy and tasty. The Cacio and Pepe brought back good memories.I have a rule...to never order any pasta outside my home. For the simple reason that I think I can do it better. Tonight I decided to break that rule (ask my husband how many times that's happened) and ordered pasta with my meat. Yum,I say! I'll get back soon for more. Husbands lemony chicken was awesome! The pappardelle with the creamy mushroom sauce was very good as well. I did try everything around the table besides the specials (an Asian fusion fish dish). I came for the Italian grub, and I got it. Thank you!

We were included in one of the soft-opening evenings, and the owners seem to have paid to attention to the comments they requested from those of us who attended. There are still some kinks to be worked out, but, hey, I'm gonna give them lots of chances. The location is tricky (behind the Walgreens at Montaño and Coors), but it's worth seeking out the restaurant. Lots of parking, funky interior, beautiful bar, great music, attentive staff (new waitstaff being trained on the job by experienced staff), great prices, and most of the food is spectacular. Our group found the homemade sausage to be a bit bland. Calamari appetizer was fresh and delicious. Eggplant? Unbelievable. I won't go on and on . . . please go and while you're there, let Jeff and Katie know you read about the restaurant here.
