“Panera Bread = Paradise Cafe”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013

Was already not pleased with the Paradise Cafe restaurant I have been to. Unfortunately I was clueless that Panera Bread IS Paradise Cafe. Decided to stick with it and order. Purchased a turkey sandwich. Was very disappointed to find items on the turkey sandwich which were not listed on the menu and that I was allergic to so wound up eating a side of macaroni & cheese for dinner. Because Panera Bread/Paradise Cafe fails to list allergy items on its' menu and because they choose to only have potato soup on days when I would never frequent their restaurant, I choose to no longer be a customer of theirs.

“Finally! A Panera's in our neighbhood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 8, 2013

We moved here from Chicago about 10 years ago and have always missed Panera's. One of our favorite things is the bread! We always thought that the bread is so different here because of our altitude, but Panera's has proved that theory wrong. Their bread is wonderful! The menu here is standard Panera's with a variety of high quality sandwiches, soups, salads and tempting bakery. We didn't remember that their prices were high and did have some sticker shock at what it cost for a mid-afternoon lunch. Other than that we can only say "Welcome to Albuquerque, Panera's" Yahoo!

“So far great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 4, 2013

I have dined at Panera Bread cafes in the DC area and Pittsburgh and looked forward to an Albuquerque restaurant. I recently tried it for lunch and was happy to experience a great lunch with exceptionally fresh and tasty ingredients. The restaurant was absolutely packed when I arrived, yet the preparation time was moderate and well worth the wait. If Panera can achieve consistency (the one characteristic which seems to be extremely hard to find in New Mexico) then they will do very well here. Excellent quality at a moderate price is hard to upstage.

“Outstanding food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 2, 2013

Wife & I dined there last night - we ate outside on their patio. The food was excellent, we had Panini's & soups and you get a yummy choc. chip cookie too. We were there a total of 30 minutes from order to finish dining and they were very busy. Will certainly eat there again soon!

“Disappointment at Breakfast”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 31, 2013

We have been visiting the Panera store near Fairhope, Alabama for years and looked forward with anticipation to their opening in our home town. Went for breakfast last Saturday and received a breakfast sandwich and omelette that literally looked and tasted like they came out of one of those cellophane wrapped frozen meals! Also disappointing was their very limited selection of pastries. This store is definitely not up to their franchise standards.
