“Fresh, and slightly bland.”
Reviewed May 13, 2014

The salad and fixings are fresh, the bar was fun but makes the dining area noisy; good New Mexican standard food, a little on the flat and creamy side for my tastes. The posole is good, for those who like posole; reasonably good carne adovada; the Ortega family tours and sings and are very sweet. If there were only a dozen restaurants I could go to, I'd probably pick this one as a solid B+ regular.

“Excellent Pick”
Reviewed May 10, 2014

We chose this restaurant based on our motel's recommendation and were not disappointed. While a little out of the way, it was worth it. The décor is awesome, and the food very, very good. Chose the Mexican Cobb salad and stuffed sopapillas. The chips were so so, but the salsa was very good. My husband loved it! The heat doesn't kick in for a while! Will definitely choose this chain again!

“Festive Bar Crowd and Tasty Mexican Food”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

We stopped during Happy Hour (Coors Blvd. location) so opted to eat in the bar area which had a good crowd for Margaritas, chips and spicy salsa. There was also a warming tray with something cheesy (we didn't try) and a bowl of layered dip(we did try). We had guacamole made tableside and a beef Taco salad which was large, meaty and good. The food and service were good and it was a fun place to hang out for awhile on a Thursday night.

“Spicy! Be prepared!”
Reviewed January 26, 2014

At someone's recommendation, we ate at Garduno's. The friend warned us we'd find the food spicy, but as lovers of "the bite" of green chili, we knew we were up to the challenge.
The food was absolutely delicious, the margaritas were as fabulous as advertised, but I'm warning you- have water close by. This is some spicy food!
The wait staff is exactly the right amount of attentive.
I recommend Garduno's for food, margaritas and ambience.
But don't say I didn't warn you.....
