slightly pricey, but well worth it. The clientele and ambiance are eclectic and people watching seems to be a favorite past time for some of the patrons. Flying Star has exceptional pastries too.

Pleasant but not pretentious, this local chain serves up fresh salads, soups, sandwiches and entrees. Ideal if your party includes vegetarians and red-meat mavens, or light eaters and chow hounds.

I have yet to have a bad meal at Flying Star. Everything they make is inevitably delicious and most often local. Their Cubano sandwich is one of my favorites. Most recently, I had their veggie delight sandwich that was just perfect with a small cup of soup. Their salads are also great, and don't forget their desserts! The Strawberry Rhubarb pie is to die for!

A great place to meet friends for a nice and relaxing Saturday morning breakfast. The food is perfect and the scenery simply adds to the atmosphere.

All of the Flying Star restaurants are the same- overpriced pastries and sandwiches, coffee, and many people who claim to love it. I don't want to spend as much on a coffee and a pastry as I would on a full dinner with dessert. It is where to hang out with your computer and be seen all day. It just doesn't impress me.
