“Great New Mexican Food”
Reviewed January 30, 2014

This is an experience that is worth it if you are in town. Great New Mexican food - Ihad the carne asada and the wife the veggie combo plate, all good. Margaritas were excellent, service was great - thank you Anthony! This is our third visit in the last 15 or so years, never disappointing and reasonably-priced.

“El Pinto - a romantic place”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

Bringing my wife here was a great idea. She's a real foodie and enjoyed the cuisine. If you don't like "hot", just ask the waitress for advice.

Loved the atmosphere as well on a cold Albuquerque winter's night.

“Perfect place to stop on way to Santa Fe”
Reviewed January 18, 2014

Women at the Albuquerque airport suggested El pinto and the woman at the car rental place agreed! and gave us a coupon. Place is a little off I-25, but worth it. Massive building- a huge place. We got there for lunch and felt like it was mostly locals. Ended up having the buffet and it was just what we needed to get us up for the drive to SF. Sat by a nice fire. Food was very good and service was attentive and friendly.

“Pretty Good Food - Lots of Celebrity Photos”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

Went for lunch and had their special -- Chile Ribs (babyback). The ribs were tender and cooked with a "smear" of red chilies. Overall "OK" but I guess the chile "smear" detracted from the flavor of the meat. Overall, I got the sense that you are paying for the ambiance and not the food since it wasn't that "spectacular."

“Great Food”
Reviewed January 9, 2014

All the food here is great! Some times it can be really spicy, but hey, that's what New Mexico is all about! Their ribs are out of this world! I love the atmosphere here, very romantic and also very family friendly. Great service and great food!
