Great service and wonderful food. The taquito appetizers are excellent. Their green chili cheese burgers are very good, but a little spicy. Ask to be seated on their rear patio; its very attractive and pleasant.

Visiting Albuquerque and went to Old Town, finding Church Street Cafe for a family lunch. I had the turkey sandwich and loved how they put green chilies in the sandwich! Just the right amount of flavor. Everyone else thoroughly enjoyed their meal, the only negative were the fries, we would have liked them crisper. Superb service!

We all recommend this place when in Albuquerque!

A basket of warm chips and red salsa was placed on our table by a smiling server.

Service was prompt and attentive.

The beef tacos with melted cheese, pinto beans and rice were flavorful and filling.

Coca-Cola products. Flavored teas. Bar service.

Shaded patio seating.

Handicapped accessible.

We wanted a place in Old Town Albuquerque and Church Street Cafe was recommended by a local. We were not disappointed! The food was delicious, we absolutely loved sitting on the beautiful patio with very pleasant guitar music to accompany our dinner. The waiter provided great recommendations based on our preferences (level of spice in the chili, etc). The history of the restaurant, printed on the menu, was very interesting. I would recommend requesting a table in the back of the restaurant or on the patio as these sections are much prettier than the front of the restaurant.

Simply put, incredibly tasty food. There were four of us at lunch and we tried each's plate. Wow. I had the Chile Relenos - simply the best I have ever had. No competition.

This Cafe is on a small side street behind the Old Town Square. It has limited street frontage, but it goes way deep, and seats a lot of people. It is cool in the summer, and has wonderful (if a tad touristy) decor.

This restaurant is on my "must return" list.
