First of all, nice ambience. Service a little slow, but it was busy.
Food very good. I had the Huevos Rancheros, yummy.

Cute little shop in the entrance area.

We were in Albuquerque for one night. Our hotel recommended this restaurant in Old Town. We walked there under the Super Moon!! The service was a little slow, but this is a popular place for locals etc. It looks small, but is quite roomy inside. Cute decor. The food was AMAZING!!! New Mexican food is so delicious! They have a sister restaurant in Cuba. I wish we would have stopped there too. The combo plates are the way to go as they have an assortment of their dishes. We are a family that generally eats rather light, but all of us (there are 6 of us) ate until we couldn't eat..... Shame on us I know. (o; We left very happy. This place is a gem among many restaurants in Old Town etc. Find and eat there!! You won't be sorry! Yum!!

We had better food elsewhere, but the service was excellent and we were treated really well. We were tired and it was late and they were almost closed, but they took the time to make sure we were promptly served and they paid special attention to the children.

If you read our reviews, you know we look for vegetarian food. We tried there vegetarian tamales and they passed the mmmmmmm good test. Likewise the cheese enchiladas. As others noted, serving sizes are large. We ordered one plate and a child's plate and the 3 of us were stuffed. Atmosphere is nice as well, and overall it was a pleasant meal and experience. We would go back there again.

This little restaurant is located behind the historic church, and is a treasure. We walked through the restaurant, to the backyard, and sat in the garden listening to live guitar music (nice touch), and enjoying the lovely afternoon. Great food and great ambience.
