Went early so didn't have to stand in line. Too bad there is no Rudy's in Michigan. Eating here is a must any time I'm in ABQ. Love the moist brisket and ribs and the creamed corn.

I enjoy ordering enough that I'll have lunch for a couple of days after filling up on the incredible BBQ. If you're lucky they'll have Prime Rib in stock - but it sells out quickly. The sides are average, and frankly they take up space on your tray that meat should be on, so go ahead and order a side of pulled pork instead of the 'slaw.

This is a chain, but they're doing everything right. Very laid back, picnic table atmosphere. Meat by the pound served with sauce and sliced bread. I really like the lean brisket. The baked (actually they're smoked) potatoes are good, and not quite as big as your head.

A must-stop for every business trip out west. While there isn't a lot of variety here, the meat is so delicious you won't have any room for vegetables!! I recommend the spicy sausage personally.

Rudy's is seriously delicious. We were delightfully surprised to find the Albuquerque location to be right next door to the Residence Inn where we spent the night on a road trip. The smoked turkey is my favorite. Don't waste your time or calories on the corn on the cob. The 3 bean salad, the ribs and the brisket are all excellent choices.
