“Wow factor through the roof!”

We went for a celebratory birthday dinner and were wowed from the start. It was our first time there. The food and service was excellent. The interior and ambiance was wonderful. Our appetizers and dinner presentation was exquisite. All 4 of us litterally said wow at some point when we tasted something new. I cant express how great our food tasted. The only complaint- minor- was that its loud inside. We thought they should add noise cancelling panels somewhere. It would make a huge difference! But it would definitely not stop us from attending again. We will be back!

“An Albuquerque favorite!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 9, 2012

Artichoke is probably one of the best, if not THE best, restaurant in Albuquerque. Their food is consistent and delicious, and the service is great, too. I go there on special occasions, or sometimes to just meet friends for wine and appetizers. Highly recommend!

“Top restaurant in Albuquerque”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 7, 2012

Had dinner at Artichoke Cafe with my husband and a friend last week and each of our different entrees was delicious as was my grilled salad from the specials list. Our server was as prompt as could be on a busy Tuesday night, the sommelier was great, and our food arrived piping hot. I really think it is one of Albuquerque's best.

Artichoke is also great for for happy hour. I highly recommend their champagne and gin martini!

“Try your luck”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 4, 2012

Here's what happened when we ate at the Artichoke Cafe -

1. greeted by a snobby hostess
2. waiter got our food order mixed up
3. by the time my husband's meal was served I had eaten mine so it didn't get cold while we waited
3a. agreed with another diner sitting nearby that her portion was a lot less than the wrong entree that was served to my husband (wish we could have given it to her)
4. when asked if we wanted more bread, it never got delivered
5. no compensation for the inconvenience

The food is good, and it is also very rich. The portions appear pretty small, but considering how rich it is, it was enough for us.

Best of luck if you go!

“Run of the Mill”

Hailed as a down to earth, relaxed place, it is definitely that....greasy, overpriced, and dirty. We sat in the window area, which was like a Pollack painting in greasy hand prints, which matched the floor.
