I received lists of places to eat on our trip from many friends. When I told a friend who grew up in Albuquerque that we ate here she said we were very "in". To say this place is casual is an understatement. Unfortunately we could not eat outside as they were very busy even though we were eating late. The server was very helpful and explained the menu and levels of heat. Our food came quickly, the staff was very friendly and the food was good.

Came here on a Sunday afternoon for lunch with friends. The service was good and the patio absolutely relaxing and lovely! While the menu was not the most expansive, your New Mexican cuisine classics were present and the food was hot and tasty. Prices were fair and portions are large. Make sure to save room though, this places has the best sopapillas in town!

Small casual restaurant in a quiet street close to the main road. Was open late and we had a tasty authentic dinner. Helpful staff. Patio seating with live music was available on a Friday evening.

We really enjoyed our dinner here. Great food, good prices and friendly service. The chips and salsa cost extra but are well worth the $1.95. We brought cash based on previous reviews, but the restaurant does now accept credit cards. It was too windy to eat on the patio so we requested a table in the small back room where it was quieter. The front room was brighter but noisier. We enjoyed the casual setting in an old house. This isn't a chain restaurant, which is exactly why we liked it. We would not have found El Patio without Trip Advisor, which prompted me to write my first restaurant review!
