Located in an assuming strip mall in set off in what looks like an old VFW club it could be easily missed or written off. That would be a grave mistake. Once inside you will be treated to one of the best meals of your life. Vietnamese cuisine has such a great mix of flavors (think a mixture of Asian and French) and Saigon Far East does a great job with them. The woman who ownbs it more likely than not will come to the table to serve you herself and make suggestions for dishes and condiments to supplement them. Listen to her. The menu looks complicated but is really not. It is the same the basic combinations served in various ways (in a soup, over rice and with noodles.) Personally I love the appetizer with the shredded jellyfish and any of the soups. One of the best restaurant meals I've ever had.

We enjoyed this low key but excellent restaurant. The green mango spicy shrimp appetizer was great (and yes, really spicy!). The flank steak over vermicelli was great with tons of vegetables and a delicious sauce. The BBQ pork with Imperial Roll and egg omelette was really good as well. The restaurant is not too far from the airport, in case you are staying near there.

This restaurant is a hidden gem!
It is one block off of San Pedro Blvd, which is a major street in ABQ. The staff is very friendly, and I think it is a family business. The restaurant felt clean, I didn't see any dust anywhere, not even on the ornaments (we always look at the cleanliness of anywhere we eat).

The food was very, very delicious, and reasonably priced. The Pho was some of the best Pho I have ever had, and Pho has been one of my favorite soups for over twenty years. The ingredients were fresh and plentiful, and the broth was exceptionally crafted!

We also had some spring rolls as an appetizer, and they were also very tasty!
I cannot wait to eat there again, and try out different aspects of their comprehensive vietnamese cuisine. I finished my entire bowl!

The price was very reasonable. We paid around 25 dollars for two bowls of Pho, an order of Spring Rolls (2 per order), and two beers.

Don't let the neighborhood fool you, this is one authentic class act that is not to miss!
