“Always Enjoyable”
Reviewed December 9, 2013

I always enjoy the ride. Since Santa Fe is a walking area, I can leave the car in Albuquerque. There is also a free shuttle in Santa Fe that hits most of the top spots. You can get off and on during the day. I usually take the train during the weekends to visit Santa Fe. The major drawback is the Northbound schedule. You have to plan on a 9 ish am or a 2 ish pm departure. The return Southbound schedule allows for dinner in Santa Fe without being rushed with departures around 8 or 10 pm depending on the weekend day.

“Sooo Graceful”
Reviewed December 6, 2013

The train from ABQ. to Santa Fe offers some of the most scenic landscape around at a cost less than gassing your vehicle. You can't see most of this landscape if you drive, as it cuts through various Pueblos.
It is inexpensive, easy to access, and drops you off in Santa Fe at a great end destination or terminus for free forays into Santa Fe. The Cocteau Theatre is there at the Terminus, owned by the indomitable George RR Martin, he of Game of Thrones Fame.

Well worth the trip….and seniors pay next to nothing.

“Love this Ride”
Reviewed December 3, 2013

Love this ride. You ride through Peublo lands and get to see some things you might not otherwise. It is packed on holidays and be sure to check the schedule as it does change occasionally. When you get to Santa Fe, there are nice little busses to take you to the Plaza, again, check to see if they are available if it's a holiday or Sunday. It's not a very long walk, but if you're not used to the altitude or heat, it can be longer than you is comfortable. It is so worth the cost, the time and the trip! Enjoy!
