“Great way to view New Mexico”
Reviewed March 17, 2013

We took the Rail Runner from Albequerque to Santa Fe. The ride was very comfortable and allowed us to see a part of the area that cannot be seen by car. Fun fact...when the doors close the warning sound is from the Road Runner cartoon "meep meep". The ticket agents were pleasant and helped us figure out exactly what we needed to get to our destination. They take all credit cards but American Express. The train was right on schedule. We enjoyed the day in Santa Fe and had a nice ride back to our car. The cost for our ride was very reasonable. We would do it again.

“Scenery between Santa Fe and ABQ that you won't see from the interstate”
Reviewed February 9, 2013

We took a $9 day pass and did a quick return journey to ABQ. We chose this to make the most of a cold winter day.
Very interesting trip and the carriages and service are excellent.
Its all very new (since 2006) and has wifi tables and power points.

“Nice trains, bad schedules”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

These are nice comfortable trains. I would use them more if they had better service. The schedules are really limited and never worked for me when I commuted to Santa Fe. If they had better service like the BART in San Francisco, then a lot more people would use these trains.

“Fantastic ride!”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

We enjoyed this train ride. We rode from downtown Albuquerque to Santa Fe (about 1 1/2 hours) round trip. This train is so smooth it sometimes seems like you aren't moving. The trip takes you through farmland as well as some city areas. The conductors are so pleasant and glad to help where they can. There are several wheelchair spaces too. We saw 10 or so people that brough bicycles on board - lots of room for them too. The total cost round trip was $8 per person.

“Great way to get to Santa Fe”
Reviewed January 18, 2013

We usually drive to Santa Fe from Albuquerque, but now that this commuter train is running, we had to give it go. We had a very pleasant ride on the upper deck, at an incredibly reasonable price ($6 round trip for seniors), and the station in Santa Fe is close to the market areas (winter and summer), and a block from a free shuttle to the Plaza area (and other locations).
