“Historical Theater”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014

Great venue in the heart of downtown Albuquerque. Historical building with fantastic architecture. The Kimo offers all kinds of performances - flamenco, tango, ballet, plays, concerts and classic movies. Not a huge theater but comfortable seating in an artistic setting.

“Saw Arlo Guthrie here!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 6, 2014

Wonderful accoustics for this entertainer! Great seats wherever you sat - though we were right down front with lots of leg room. Great rest rooms and was surprised to see more men waiting in line than women! Very large lobby, great for millling about at intermission - wuld have been nice to have some drinks availble at intermission though- water. Seats were a little small for large people. And the decorative architechture was incredible. Took more photos of the building inside and out than of performer. Parking in the nearby parking garage was quite reasonable as well - so close and felt secure about leaving our new car there. We'll be coming back for the tour of the building at a later date!!!

“Stunning Architecture”

Make sure you do the self guided tour. Awesome example of Art Deco-Pueblo Revival Style architecture. Watch for the glowing red eyes!

“A very old theater from a bygone era...!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 15, 2014

A typical theater out of the last century, any musical event performed here would be personal and very close!
Seating is good and the stage lends itself to presentations that a person could appreciate for the money asked!
