Stopped in ona quiet Friday afternoon and we were given a private tour of the entire four floors of this interesting little museum. It is housed in the original building of the Albuquerque offices of Bell Telephone built in 1906. Only open three days a week, Mon, Wed, Fri 10a-2p (entirely volunteer run) but if you are staying downtown and would like to see a different side of New Mexico history stop in for an hour or so.

Original switchboards from telephone offices all over the state.dating back to the late 1800s. Every model of telephone you can imagine from the first ones invented, to the pink princess phones, to the first push button phones, to Mickey Mouse and Elvis phones. A real trip down memory lane.
