“Wonderful way to finish a vacation”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 4, 2012

We had been in New Mexico for 10 days and finishing at the spy house was fantastic! The Murder Mystery was a blast, and we highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a great meal, laugh a lot, and do something a little different. If you decide to stay overnight (which I definitely recommend) The rooms are wonderfully decorated, comfortable, and breakfast is deliscious. We will stay again, and hopefully be able to do another murder mystery dinner.

“A wonderful evening!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 28, 2012

The murder mystery dinner at the Spy House last Friday was the most fun we have had in a long time! We were given character assignments beforehand and with everyone in character it was easy to mingle and talk to other guests. It was great that the murder mystery was based on actual events from the past. The dinner was delicious and the loose script that allowed for lots of ad libbing was great. Steve and Kara were gracious hosts, as well as excellent leaders for the play I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun evening's entertainment in Albuquerque.

“A Wonderful Night in Albuquerque”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2012

Last Friday night, my friend and I went to the Spy House in Albuquerque to have dinner and participate in mystery. It was a lot of fun, and the food was delicious! Thanks to an e-mail, we arrived at 6:00 P.M. dressed as our characters. (The clothes were suggested. We made some adaptions, and that was fine.) Steve and Kara, the owners, gave us more information when they welcomed us. We had drinks, ate hors d'oeuvres, and mingled with the other guests.(I think that there were approximately sixteen of us. The limit was twenty participants.) Then the owners, told us about the history of the Spy House, now a B & B, which they own. We were seated together at a large table in the dining room and were given scripts with suggested ad libs included. (This was particularly helpful because my friend has difficulty hearing at times.) Steve and Kara became the main characters, and the rest of us played our roles. Although we ended up being seated by the murderer, we had a delightful time and would encourage anyone who loves mysteries to check it out! P.S. (The Spy House is located off Central and not far from one of the medical centers. There is plenty of street parking, and you don't need a permit after 5 P.M.)
