There were three ladies over 55 years old; and we all gulped down the scenery, the knowledge of the guide - the entire experience! The fact that they pick you up where ever you are staying - really clinches it; they are smart in that aspect.

We enjoyed hearing about the Indigenous/First Nations people who set up living quarters in this - what was once, outback. Hearing about and having the pine nut bush identified; and hearing the personal stories of the guide "made the trip for me".

At least a couple of us felt that they had perhaps "stretched" the definition of "ghost town" compared to what we generally know of a ghost town... But it is still highly recommended on our list of things to do. Loved getting off-road with someone who knew so much.

Roch is AMAZING! My fiancé proposed to me during the jeep tour and secretly worked with Roch to plan the entire proposal.... which included a secret password and location. Roch was extremely knowledgeable, charming and very kind. My "New York guard” and natural introverted personality quickly diminished the moment Roch began to speak. His demeanor is professional, yet appropriately warm and friendly. If “energy” is important to you, you will immediately get a sense that his is definitely positive.

The tour itself is breathtaking and is enhanced with subtle Native American/tribal music playing inside the jeep. Additionally, he provided water and adjusted the temperature inside the jeep according to OUR preference. Roch patiently waited as we snapped several pictures and pointed out specific areas of historic significance. He answered every question and exhibited humility and respect regarding the Natives, which really spoke volumes in terms of his character. You get a sense that this is not just a “job” for Roch. He actually loves what he is doing and it is reflected in the overall quality of the tour.

Roch named the location where my fiancé proposed “Renewal Point” and we will forever remember that day (which was Election Day/Nov. 6th), the jeep tour…… and the man that helped bring it all together for us. We will definitely return with family and friends. Thank you Roch!!!

As the other reviewers noted, this is a 5 star experience. Frank, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful with other Albuquerque tips. We saw numerous herds of wild horses, beautiful vistas, ruins and so much more. He gave us tips about visiting Albuquerque, including pepperoni pizza with green chilis - which my husband loved! Thank you so much for a great time!

Clint was our guide for our 3 hour tour - we saw Indian ruins, petroglyphs, 2 groups of wild horses, fossils, and a ghost town. Clint knew his stuff - I learned so much from him as we drove along looking at the gorgeous scenery and keeping an eye out for the horses. This tour was designed around our interests. When I made the reservation with Roch, he asked specifically what we were interested in and designed our tour accordingly. We opened up the top of the jeep and took off! We hit Hagen (the ghost town) just at sunset and it was absolutely beautiful. We had enough time to look at the town and explore quite a bit. We never felt rushed and if we wanted to stop and look at something Clint stopped and let us explore and check things out. We plan on going back and doing a longer tour with our kids next time. I sincerely recommend this tour if you visit Albuquerque. It was the highlight of our stay.

We got to see New Mexico like many others do not thanks to Roc Hart and his excellent jeep tour. He gave us a special experience, you could really see his passion and love for this land and the history it holds. He really went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of. We took the four hour tour and because we had such a good time we could have toured for much longer! I highly recommend Roc and his tours as he is a true professional and would show any visitor an excellent time.
