There were three ladies over 55 years old; and we all gulped down the scenery, the knowledge of the guide - the entire experience! The fact that they pick you up where ever you are staying - really clinches it; they are smart in that aspect.
We enjoyed hearing about the Indigenous/First Nations people who set up living quarters in this - what was once, outback. Hearing about and having the pine nut bush identified; and hearing the personal stories of the guide "made the trip for me".
At least a couple of us felt that they had perhaps "stretched" the definition of "ghost town" compared to what we generally know of a ghost town... But it is still highly recommended on our list of things to do. Loved getting off-road with someone who knew so much.
