Formerly the Hard Rock. now Isleta Casino.
Just outside Abq, clean, comfortable casino and hotel.
Tried the snack bar, 2 of the cafes (one self service and one full service)
Could not find any items that wowed us. Sandwiches, soups, hamburgers, country fried steaks, etc.
Nothing memorable or very tasty ( bland).
Decided we would not eat here again.
However, we did not try the Embers steak house, so it might be better.

Went to see the remodeled Isleta Casino today. What a difference. New management has made a positive impact. The new Indian motif is very pretty/well done and the feel of the place is much softer and more friendly. Lots of Indian artists present for a special Saturday showing and sale. Indian dancers too. All in all, we had a great time and only lost $7.00. If you didn't like the Hard Rock, give Isleta a try.

Went to see Queensryche inside the showroom at Hard Rock Casino on April 12. It was an event for people age 12 and over. When we walked in it was pitch black and we couldn't see each other as we were walking. The seats were chairs in lines and visibility was terrible. Took my teen to see the show because we all enjoy the music. She could not see so she had to stand on the chair and we were told by security she could not stand there. There was no other way to see the stage because she is smaller than adults. There were so many drunk people there and it was hard to imagine how they could be so drunk that they were falling all over the chairs and knocking them over. We definitely will not be back for a show at this place it was not worth the time and effort it took to be there.

We go over to the casino about every other week. It is usually very clean and not too smoky. The variety of slots is very good and there are several table games ready to play at. It is roomy and they come around very often to offer soda, coffee, water. There is a ton of free parking. Valet has always been very good. Music is great (rock and roll). There is an attached hotel. The only draw back is that when they offer concerts here, they actually just convert the bingo hall. The seats are literally attached to each other and so it is a very tight squeeze no matter how thin you are. Because of that, we no longer attend concerts there. Other than that, it is a good place to gamble.

It's located outside of the city, but it was worth the drive. I love rock memorabilia and was impressed with the displays located here. I'm not really into gambling, but learned that by joining their member's club they give you $25 for slot machine. Most of the machines were $.01 or $.05 slots and there was a variety of games. I was excited to find that they had a smoke-free room with a decent number of machines. I ended up having a good time and it didn't cost me anything! The staff was very polite. It didn't seem like there were a lot of shops, but I was mainly on the casino side so there may have been more in the hotel. There were a few different dining choices and price ranges between the casino and hotel. Overall, it was a fun way to spend a few hours and walked away with some cool photos. I'll definitely go again.
