Really, this IS the first thing to do in Albuquerque. This is not a hop on hop off but a great overview of the city. ABQ Trolley is affiliated with many local attractions and restaurants and with your ticket you will get nice discounts to those places. Jesse & Mike, the owners, are entertaining and full of information. You see things from their tour that you just would not find on your own. This is money and time well spent.

We have visited Albuquerque frequently over the last 10 years, but we learned more in this 85 minute trip than we have in the last 10 years! The guys were a lot of fun and you learn a ton of history, see areas of town featured in movies an TV shows, and learn some fun history.

I've taken a few of the tours--a general tour of the city & Route 66, along with one that features movie & TV locations. Each time, I've learned new and unusual facts about the city. The owners, Jesse and Mike, are full of enthusiasm, good humor and friendliness without being cheesy tour guides. They've added video segments that coincide with the TV show or movie location shot where you are pausing for a photo op. Fun trivia contests, candy prizes, discounts from local businesses when you show your trolley ticket and sticker...great ways to see the city from an insider's perspective.
