This museum is a real gem. Exhibits are organized chronologically and are very clear for both adult and child interest. We spent 2 hours there and enjoyed it. The bonus was that we got reminded about the geology of the area, which was handy in our other New Mexico travels.

The first thing you see when you walk in is a full size animated T-Rex and it looked real! We had a good time. The only thing dissapointing to me was most everything was recreated & I thought from the brochures I would see more small real artifacts. If you have kids....a must see.

A really well done museum with an excellent display of New Mexican Dinosaurs. We had a great time and talked to some really nice, knowledgable and enthusiastic staff and volunteers.

The exhibits are very thoughtfully done. Great place to spend an afternoon. Loved the dinosaurs. One of the best T-Rex exhibits ever. A full skeleton as well as a fully fleshed out full size animated one!. It makes an impression. You really get what an imposing animal this one really was. The visit was very enjoyable.

The dinosaurs thrash their tails, roar, even move their tiny little front feet. For young children, it can be scary, so hold tight. But there is a wealth of information to be had -- just make sure you enter the exhibits in the right order. First time we were there, we did; last time, not and it was a tad confusing, and sometimes hard going against the tide of other viewers. The dynamax theater is great, always has interesting, entertainingly educational 3D movies. Good museum shop and cafe.
