Flora and fauna are fabulous to see and explore; great interpretive and educational facility and you can also eat lunch or dinner while watching fish float by.

Has nice gardens and greenhouse - for a dessert. Is nice to that it is combined with the Zoo. Green houses do have a limited orchid exhibit, but at least they have some.

I hadn't been to the Bio Park in a while and i was surprised at the activities for children such as a maze and other amenities. My grandson, 5 years, really had fun running around the place, seeing frogs, water fowl and muskrats, and the train exhibit. The flora and fauna is interesting for adults as well.
At Christmas they put on an outstanding light show, too.

The zoo is not real big and it was hot. Not a lot of shade but was worth seeing. We took the train to the Botanical Garden and Aquarium and it was a nice ride but the line to get on the train was VERY LONG and it only runs about every hour so you need to plan your visit around the train times or you will wait in the heat. The Aquarium and Garden were small. Lots of shops but did not go into any.

We walked the trails along the Rio Grande river and only went in the park itself briefly. Very enjoyable.
