Was a bit disappointed in that no votive candles were present to light. Store has some very nice religious items.

Beautiful historic church. You are going to be in Old Town anyway, right? Well, you have to pop in there. I try not to take too many photos in active churches, but it is very photogenic.
This attractive church is located right on the Plaza of the Albuquerque Historic District.
Worth visiting for its architecture! Dating back to 1793, it is one of the oldest surviving buildings in the city.
The church is centrally located in Old Town. It's simple but beautiful. Really perfect for the location and it's humble beginnings. Worth the look around.
The church was founded when Old Town Albuquerque was founded, so it is quite old even though it is still a functioning house of worship. It is fascinating to imagine SIster Blandina there after counseling Billy the Kid or Zubulon Pike kept captive in the priest's house when Spain still held the territory and spying was illegal. There is church parking in the back of San Felipe, but if yuo plan to see the rest of Old Town, it is probably best to use the public parking areas by the museum in case the church as a mass or funeral planned and parishoners want to park there.
