A beautiful mission style church. We were not disappointed we stopped in. While there you need to visit the little gift shop. The people there are the friendliest people we ever met.

We visited this church while walking the Old Town. The building dates from the 1700s, and was built by the Franciscans. Would have liked more details on its history while we were there. The interior is unremarkable to see, but it the church itself is a beautiful adobe structure that anchors one side of the old town plaza. In front is a fountain and a small rose garden. We were there on a Saturday morning and it was a peaceful place. The gift store has some interesting items worth browsing.

Not only is the exterior architecture interesting - along with it's history, but the inside has been very well maintained. The interior is on the small side, but impressive in a very simple way. It was a pleasure to pause here for several minutes.

This church had the great architecture of all the other churches in New Mexico. The old Spanish Style. Love the look of it and the beautiful flower filled courtyard nearby. Quite and peaceful.

Based on other reviews, I expected to see more of the history from this Church as this was billed as one of the oldest. When we visited, it felt like any other church and we were expecting more about the history. The exterior is more in-line with what I would expect from buildings in NM.
